Our core backup service is underpinned by Dynamic File System Replication (DFS-R), a sophisticated replication technology that scans a file for the packets changed and reconciles them with the last replicated copy. For example, if an employee was working on a 30-page Word document, but only changed 2 paragraphs, the packets of data containing those two paragraphs would be uploaded to the pre-existing copy on our backup platform, not the entire file.
